As the first car to cross the Golden Gate Bridge in 1937, the 1931 Lincoln Model K Sedan is a beautiful classic automobile having carried Presidents, tycoons of industry, and celebrities. One of the few luxury car brands to survive The Great Depression, the Model K debuted with a new chassis and improved 384.8 cu.-in. engine with 120 horsepower. It carries a 145 in. wheelbase, a longer hood, rounder bumpers, and elegant designer headlights. The chrome greyhound — designed by Gorham Silversmiths — adorns the radiator cap.

FROM THE ARTIST: "Our shoot took place early one morning at Strawberry Farms in Newport Beach, CA. The marine layer just began to lift when I captured Blue Lincoln. The added Silvertone technique highlights the bodywork, and the brown leather strap details on the spare really make this piece sing."
