The artist, Breck Rothage, is a proud supporter of The Ocean Institute's annual Jazz 2022 gala through his donation of his fine art and participation in the event. 

Up for LIVE AUCTION tonight only, this 6 ft. x 3 ft. Watercolor Wall fine artwork is infused to the highest-grade aluminum canvas available, made to last a lifetime. Valued at $5,000, the starting bid on this fine artwork is $3,500. 

Watercolor Wall was created purely in-camera – exclusively using artistic motion and light – rather than relying on post processing tools such as Photoshop.

For this technique to work, the ambient light and motion of the wave must come together with precision to bring out the true colors of the water, the powerful motion of the waves, and the beauty of the sea spray as it wisps across the crest of the barrel.

Watercolor Wall is one of those perfect moments in time, framed at the top with the deep blues of the Pacific Ocean, and accented with touches of dancing sea foam. Watercolor Wall is painted in motion to provide a soul nourishing view of the shoreline.
