Saturday, March 26, 2022 – The Ocean Institute is celebrating its 45th Anniversary with the All That Jazz 2022 Gala as their premiere fundraising event of the year. 

Breck Rothage Fine Art is a proud supporter of The Ocean Institute and has been invited to participate in their LIVE AUCTION and SILENT AUCTION at the gala to raise funds for The Ocean Institute's marine science and maritime history programs, supporting 100,000 children, teachers, parents, and visitors annually. To participate in the SILENT AUCTION beginning noon Friday March 25, 2022, you can log on from home to view and bid on any item in the auction – including Breck's work. Winner's will be revealed Saturday March 26, 2022.

This is a cause that's close to the artist's heart. For The Ocean Institute's LIVE AUCTION, The Breck Rothage Fine Art Studio is bringing out the favorite from last year's Festival of the Arts in Laguna Beach – Watercolor Wall at 6 ft. x 3 ft. – with the artwork infused to high-grade aluminum.

Watercolor Wall by Breck Rothage Fine Art is a 6 ft. x 3 ft. fine artwork infused to the highest-grade aluminum canvas available – made to last a lifetime. The Breck Rothage Fine Art Studio is a proud supporter of The Ocean Institute through this fine art donation of Watercolor Wall to support marine and maritime educational programs.

Watercolor Wall is part of The Impressions Collection and was created purely in-camera. Breck's techniques and craftsmanship rely on motion and light, rather than post processing tools. The results are the true-to-nature colors of the saltwater as it changes with the seasons, shimmers in the ambient light, and carves out beauty in motion with the barrel of the wave. Breck's fine artwork presents at 6 ft. like a window to the shore rather than an aluminum canvas on a wall.
