Eye of Storm
Extracted from 'Smooth Roll Blues' when a collector requested a custom work to fit their space. Taking from the center of said piece, Eye of Storm a sense of 'calm' in the center of the storm created by the deep blue sea kissing the Southern California shore in Laguna Beach. The deep blue of the sea transitions to aqua, then turquoise and green as the wave reaches up toward the sun. The mixing sand brings in deep tans and browns contrasted with white sea spray for a representation of color only found in the majestic nature of the Pacific Ocean.
