The Impressions Coastal Fine Art Collection — Corporate, Luxury Home, Resort
The Breck Rothage Fine Art Studio has been serving the local Laguna Beach and surrounding areas, along with our national and international clients for over twenty years. Our most popular, black-tie works come from The Impressions Coastal Fine Art Collection. These works are hanging in luxury homes and corporate offices up and down the California coast and beyond.
Breck Rothage with 716am Fine Art — The Strand in Dana Point, CA.
The Breck Rothage Impressions Collection stylistically allows the waves to display their natural form and flow using my proprietary Impressions Collection technique. This creates a painterly feel coming through in the artwork. In fact, people often think these works are paintings with the elegant brushstrokes of varied colors, but it’s fine art photography at its luxurious best.

An added benefit of this dreamy, Impressions Collection style is that it leaves room for interpretation — bringing in one’s own memories of the past as well as dreams of the future.

AquaFlow was the first work in The Impressions Collection. After its first public showing in Laguna Beach, where it had a great response, I went out to do more. There are now twenty-four works in the Impressions Collection and counting.

Each wave is different. They move at different speeds, changing direction, and each has different moving parts to be considered in relation to composition. This is where we find the artistry hidden inside each California wave.

Also, The Impressions Collection is created purely ‘in camera’ and is not manipulated in any way using Photoshop or any other similar manipulation software. This is a rare skill in today's fine art photography market. Instead, I am allowing the waves to show their uniquely elegant movement, along with the exquisite colors only found in nature.
Oversized Custom Fine Art Installations in Irvine, CA
With a lot of technical understanding and years of skill, along with tenacity and patience, I can capture works of art that occur so fast in nature, they are hidden to the naked eye. Yet on the coast, by the water's edge, one can still feel its beauty in their soul. This is the same feeling the works in The Impressions Collection bring to the spaces where they are installed.
