FROM THE ARTIST: "The 'Silvertone' series began when one day, I just wanted to do something that is 'different' — and thought, 'what if?' I thought I might do a sort of 'double deveoping' — selecting one color palette to develop in color as a standout, then developing the rest in greytones. Accentuating the color and poping it out, understand that the greytone is not simply 'switched' to black and white, but selectively moved and adjusted to create the desired effect and feel of the image. This is where it comes to the 'high drama' which you see ...and feel."
