WILD MUSTANG

The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang is an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II, among other conflicts.  The long-range P-51 Mustang fighter plane was invaluable to the Allied victory and became America’s most capable wartime fighters. The pairing of the legendary Merlin engine and the P-51 Mustang resulted in the P-51D, which gave the US Air Force a high-performance, high-altitude, long-range fighter that could escort heavy bomber formations all the way to Berlin — and back.

Here, the P-51 Mustang Fighter christened LADY ALICE fills the frame with her dynamic and capable body style, restored fully to her glory days when she first rolled out onto the tarmac. With original fine art infused to fine art metal canvas, Wild Mustang fine artwork appears smoother and more refined than works under glass or acrylic.
